Easter in the Tramway Museum The Easter bunny will visit the Museum and for children of any (!) age he will hide chocolate eggs in the exhibition halls and in the open-air ground.

The Big Little Model Trams (G-scale) At the same time: Mother’s Day: Mothers bringing their child (children) pay half price only. Friends of scratch-built model tramcars in 1:22,5 scale (LGB size) give a foretaste of their even larger exhibition on 3 and 4 September. The models are four times larger compared to the usual HO/OO scale. In addition, FREMO -Friendship of European railway modellers- presents various modular layouts of secondary and narrow-gauge lines.

Model Truck Meeting The Hannover Mini-Truck Club organises a large show of radio-controlled model trucks and construction machines many oft hem in full action. The Little Ones can take a „Child Driving Test“.

Playmobil Exhibition On the Sundays of this period you see a big exhibition of various theme-related Playmobil motifs. Playmobil is the brand of the No. 2 among European producers of plastic toy-figures and related systems.

5th Old Commercial Vehicles Day Big and not so big veterans of The Road and of The Building Site will visit the Tramway Museum. Free entry for driver and co-driver.

Historical Fire Brigades Day After the great success of this theme day two years ago, we will repeat that event. Among many other fire brigade exhibits, about 100 vehicles from all over the country are expected.

16th Gathering of Vintage Cars and Motor Bikes Hundreds of old vehicles - not limited to German or foreign brands. Hundreds of various vehicles expected during the day. Entrance free for driver and co-driver.

The Big Little Model Trams (G-Scale) A really large exhibition. More than 100 highly detailed scratch-built model trams in the voluminous G-Scale (1:22,5 LGB size) are expected. Many cars in busy service on a comprehensive indoor layout. One of he largest meetings of its kind in the country. On Sunday 4 September only, the Tramway Museum is one destination out of forty places of the 24th Day of Discovering the Hannover Region. Dirt-cheap day tickets make public transport affordable in a huge area, esp. for families

5th „Trabi Gathering“ East German cars and Bikes meet in the Tramway Museum. In the centre of interest will be the „Trabant“, the two-stroke „Volkswagen of East Germany“. In addition, “Wartburg“ cars and other brands and the famous „MZ“ motor bikes will come. Entrance free for driver and co-driver.

Autumn Atmosphere in the Tramway Museum Special opening times: 11.00 a.m. to 07.00 p.m. Today, the clocks in Central Europe are turned back one hour. Illuminated trams ride in the late dawn. From 5 p.m. Lantern procession for the Little Ones. Free entry for kids with lantern. Hot spiced wine, bratwurst, goulash soup in addition to the „standard menu“.
